Commodores Island Chateau, built in 1985, is a six-story, 35-unit condo building located on the beautiful Davis Islands. The small community offers gorgeous views of Harbor Island and Downtown Tampa, and sits across from the ball fields and playground that make up the City Park.

Insufficient maintenance, and 30+ years of very minimal upgrades, had left the building with moisture intrusion issues as well as looking run down and in dire need of a facelift. SPECIALIZED took on the role of Construction Manager in 2019 and began the all-inclusive exterior renovation process.

Commencing construction of this fully occupied building in November of 2019, Island Chateau is now equipped with all impact windows and sliding glass doors, a brand new east-facing parapet wall and canopy eyebrow, complete balcony upgrades, new traffic coatings, and an entire building repaint using the advanced technology of hydroponic materials.

SPECIALIZED is in the final 60 days of the project and is prepping to hand the keys back over to the excited and very satisfied HOA.
